Love this place! The owner is one of a kind. He is just like his pizza and food, simply the best. True Italian cooking fantastic pizzas and pastas. My go to is a large Rustica Pizza. His own recipe sausage and oil and garlic infused tomatoes. So good.

It's literally the greatest pizza I've ever eaten. Anytime I go anywhere, I try local pizza there to see if it beats Village Pizza, and they fail every time. I could eat here every day and never get tired of it because it's just that good. I recommend it to everyone I know to eat here any time they're in New Athens. Please, never close. Village Pizza closing would be one of the worst days of my life.

We purchased a fixer upper closer to New Athens and while taking a much needed break, wanted to try Village Pizza in New Athens. What a charming, delicious experience. From the old authentic Italian vibe to the super friendly, heavily Italian accented owner, to the lovely staff and wonderful gluten free pizza, it is now at the top of our favorite new local places. We left with a smile on our faces.
