This is a good place to eat, but wasn't what we were expecting.. I thought sit down Italian restaurant.. nope, order at the counter. Seat yourself. Get your own drink. They bring food to your table, but no other interaction w/staff. Had to go back to the counter to get boxes.
I love Avanti's. I come here everything I am in town. The food is good. I was disappointed this last time though. I ordered a turkey and cheese sandwich no lettuce for my trip home, and when I opened it up it was a turkey and tomato sandwich. Maybe someone else's order, but it wasn't mine.

I have been here only twice and got the same thing both times. The Gondola sandwich is very good and way worth the price. Nothing there seemed to be too expensive. The 1st time we went was with my family of 5 and my daughters softball team and their families. They were loud and playing around but the staff was very cool about it and let them have fun even though they could not even hear us order. Anyways, I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone
