U UM YUMMIEST BROWNIE AND CINNAMON CAKE ? ? ? ever

Meia S.

They ran out of a lot of stuff such as the cookie for the mocha cookie crumble drink and the fruit for the mango dragonfruit tea. They told us about the cookie crumble and suggested a double chocolate drink instead but didn't let us know about the tea so it literally looked like water. Wish another suggestion was provided or even a discount. Staff were friendly and the bathroom was inside the hotel.

This Starbucks was pretty dysfunctional… they ran out of all cup sizes except venti and by the time I finished the 20 min wait for my coffee they announced they had run out of garbage bags too. Highly recommend a better demand planner… or to simply go to a local

My lid didn't fit. I told the ownersThey replaced it and said it was good. Got back to my car and the whole thing spilled because my lid popped off.

My family and I stayed here for Special Olympics. We are new to the program and booked late. Needless to say the Hyatt was the only available hotel in town and now I know why. We could have stayed at a nice resort on a beach for what this cost us. Service was mediocre as the WIFI wasn’t working and employees had to let us into our room. St one point the lobby was filled with guests waiting to be let into our rooms and the employee in charge panicked and left. The bartender had to take over. The breakfast was also mediocre. Hyatt was supposed to be a sponsor for Special Olympics! Shame on Hyatt for price gouging!

We were in town for the Special Olympics Summer Games and stayed here because of the convenience factor and the fact that the rooms can accommodate a party of 6. We had a great stay in 2022, but this year the guest room hallways were filthy, with overflowing waste receptacles and guests' dirty dishes in the hallways for over 24 hours. This was scene on multiple guest room floors. The minifridge in the room didn't cool, the thermostat wouldn't cool below 71, and the headset to the phone didn't work. There was no wi-fi on our arrival day, so they couldn't set up room keys, leading to very long waits to check in, as guests had to be escorted up to their room and physically let into rooms by one staff member. We checked in at 10AM online into our two queen corner nook room and I called the hotel to advise that we wouldn't arrive until the evening and asked if our room would still be available to us. I was told that because I checked in online, we'd be fine. Upon arrival, we were told that the room was given to someone else and we were given a lower category room with no offer of any type of credit between what we received and what we paid for. When I inquired the day of check out about a credit since we did not get what we paid for, I was told that this was because we arrived in the evening and they overbook our room type. The front desk person would "ask a manager" if we could get some Hyatt points since the room we paid for wasn't what we received, but would not allow for any type of actual monetary credit between what we paid for and what we received.

You can’t beat the location of this hotel if you child attends ISU and you are lucky enough to get an available room when you need it. The hotel is nice, a Starbucks located in the lobby and the morning breakfast buffet has a great variety of options and plenty of seating. Parking is easy. I didn’t stay long enough this visit to check out the other amenities, but I will defiantly be booking again (if I can get a room) as the availability is not great.

We had a very comfortable stay - rooms are large, clean and have everything you need. There was parking in the garage over the road - so that was easy. The hotel was convenient for what we wanted - close to nice restaurants. Breakfast was ok with some healthy choices.

this hotel is in a great location; it has great staff, a good breakfast, nice rooms and easy parking. i highly recommend trying it if you haven't been here already. the immediate area has very few decent restaurants, but downtown bloomington has a few.
