We loved everything about Le Tour! The space looks great and the food and cocktails were great. The happy hour specials are a bargain too. But what really stood out was the incredibly friendly and professional service. We will be back.
To start, the hostess could not find our Open Table reservation which had been made a few weeks in advance. It did not matter because the restaurant was not full, but had it been full, it would have been a problem. Then when she finally found it, after we were seated, she said we had given her the wrong time which was incorrect and why would you say that to paying customers who were already unsettled because of her error? On a more positive note, The bar area and the whole restaurant...
We often drive past great food options in Glencoe, Winnetka, and Wilmette to come to La Tour, French bistro food never gets old, and LT does everything right. BTW, if you want real pommes frites, this is your place. Chicken Tagine is outstanding too. And we like the way the big space breaks down into smaller areas. We'll keep coming back
