Was there with two other adults and two children. It was the 1st time any of us were there. I had the banana split Dippin' Dots. It was really good. A unique type of ice cream for sure. Everyone enjoyed what they had ordered.The gentleman behind the counter was a real nice guy with a good sense of humor.
Probably one of the cleanest food businesses in the mall. Owner is very friendly and my kids are always happy to try the free samples he is offering before they pick their final flavors. The cotton candy and snow cones are an added treat. Snow cones are very reasonably priced. Look for his weekly deals to save some money, especially if you are taking multiple children.
So, what exactly is a dippin' dot? Well it is ice cream that is flash frozen. Located in the Food Court (Suite 128) at the Harlem Irving Plaza, there is a big selection to choose from and some really different concoctions. We tried a basic cookies 'n cream. They also have flash frozen sorbets, sherberts and yogurts. One of the more interesting concoctions that we did try was a root beer dot float, which is the dots on top of your choice of sodas. Very different and good.
