“The food here is fantastic, except for the fries which are really thick potato slices. They used to have the best thin, crispy fries (chips) but no more. Hence the reason for only 4-stars.

The lady working was very friendly, making me feel like I was a regular despite it being my first visit to this location. The food was hot, fresh, as ordered and most importantly, delicious. The in-house baked pitas are like eating a cloud of heaven.“

“Update: I’ve been going here for many years, with longer hours now and a remodeled and much larger dining area that looks and feels pleasant, they’ve really been doing a great job! Quality is consistent and always tastes great. Very fresh and lots of healthy options that taste great! Cannot recommend this place enough.

“It’s amazing how amazing hole in the wall places are in Chicago!! The zurbian chicken was a deliciously flavored rice with melt in your mouth chicken! The lamb chops were out of this world! Absolutely mind blowingly delicious and huge portions. We are soooo happy we found this place and can’t wait to come back. And thanks to Asif for his perfect suggestions and superb frriendly service. “One of the best restaurants in Chicago! The lunch special is my favorite - the most flavorful kabobs and rice (I upgrade to the Kabuli style rice). I also love the Kabuli Palaw (lamb shank). Service is always efficient and friendly. Afghan Kabob is worth a visit even if you're not in the area!“

Also tried the Masala Fries, which were crispy and packed with flavor. The staff was friendly, and the place had a cozy vibe. If you're in the area and craving a flavorful halal meal, this spot is worth checking out. Definitely coming back to try more of their menu.“

“I found this place completely by accident while searching on Google for a place to smoke hookah. I was truly impressed by the hospitality, the excellent service, and the delicious hookah.

I ordered tea and a hookah, but the waiter told me the tea would be complimentary. That kind and thoughtful gesture really touched me, and it made me decide to order some food to go as well.
