Bring cash or use the ATM, you won't be disappointed!“

“I wanted to try this place and I have to say when you walk in the manager and team greeted me and said hello, made me feel welcoming. The prices were not bad. They gave me hummus and pita bread and water while I waited for my food to be done. The restaurant was very clean, no complaints.

“This is now one of my favorite spots in the southwest suburbs. Food was delicious, I got a chicken shawerma platter and my friend got the shawafel sandwich.
The chicken was seasoned to perfection and super tender. The falafel was really tasty. I’m so glad I tried this place out and will 1000% be back in the future.

“We came in for our 8:30 reservation and were seated right behind a large structure, which completely blocked our view of the show ( baila habibi). It was frustrating because there were clearly other open tables, but we were told those were reserved for a private party. Throughout the night, we never actually saw any private party happening, so that explanation didn't really hold up. The atmosphere itself was fun, with good music and a lively vibe, but the show was just okay—and honestly hard to enjoy when we had to stand up and walk away from our table just to see anything. Service was where things really fell apart. It took about 45 minutes before we even got menus or water. Our waiter seemed to be covering a huge section alone, but he walked by us multiple times without acknowledging us until we flagged him down. Drinks were inconsistent each time, and overall he felt very inexperienced. That could be forgivable, but the situation got worse—he actually left his shift before the night was over without handing our table off to anyone. We ended up waiting another hour just trying to find someone—anyone—to help us pay our tab. As for the food, the flavors were good, but kebabs came out a bit dry and didn't come with sauces unless we specifically asked for them. The appetizer platter was excellent and very authentic tasting. Overall, the place has potential because the vibe is there, but between the poor seating, disorganized service, and lack of basic attention to guests, the experience ended up being more frustrating than enjoyable.“

“This restaurant truly impressed us from the moment we walked in! ✨ The atmosphere and decor were beautiful, the dishes looked amazing, and the service was absolutely outstanding. We came as a group of seven to celebrate a birthday, and every single one of us left impressed and happy. 🎉

We started by sharing an appetizer sampler and some kibbeh, and everything tasted fantastic. It was the perfect way to begin the evening and definitely set high expectations for the main course. For dinner, we ordered a large kebab platter meant for six people, and we were shocked by how much food we received! 🍖🥗 It came with hummus, babaganoush, muthawama, fresh salad, and a great selection of perfectly seasoned meats that were cooked beautifully.

The mint lemonades were incredibly refreshing and paired perfectly with the meal. 🍋🌿 To finish the celebration, we shared a big crispy kenafa dessert that arrived with a sparkler and a birthday song for our friend — such a fun and sweet moment! 🎂✨

Parking was a bit difficult to find, but honestly it was completely worth it for such an amazing dining experience. I’m already looking forward to coming back again! 😋“

Edit after 1 year. This place is good. The food is always good and the workers are usually nice to the customers I still give it 5 stars, but there are some small problems.
The chicken on rice should be cut small like it was when they first opened just like it is in NYC. They’ve been putting out huge chunks of chicken and it’s just not as flavorful as it used to be. Please go back to cutting it smaller. Also sometimes when they’re busy the place can be a mess with no one cleaning the dining area. One more thing is the drinks are never full. It’s always out of something and the cooler looks empty. I love this place so I hope they fix these small issues.“

The falafels were the highlight—simply the best I've ever had, like the perfect cherry on top of a sundae. As for the Mansaf, it was nothing short of exceptional. “I have been eating at Benjyehuda for a long time. I used to go to the LaSalle location until I changed jobs to a building across the street from this one. It's always clean, whether you are take out or dine in. It's spacious, well lit, and comfortable. The food is truly some of the best and I can never skip the fries. But, my favorite part of this location is the staff. They're always so kind, welcoming, and warm. I know my week will be made anytime I drop by.
