Got a seat right away but the waiter took forever to return to the table. We received our appetizer and it was cold in the middle. My pasta was full of uncooked clumps and also tasted like dishwater idk how. My GFS pasta was cold and bland and all of the proteins were cold. Won't be back

My girlfriend and I got dinner at the oakbrook location as we were seated I noticed that my silverware had food all over it so I notified the busboy clearing the table next to us to take it and bring me new silverware that I never received… I ordered the Italian sausage and mushroom pasta that came out very quickly but there were only 2 quarter sized pieces of ground sausage and a handful of mushrooms for a large plate of pasta… we ordered a strawberry cheesecake that we couldn’t eat due to the strawberries being frozen solid. I packed my pasta in a to go box to notice that the bottom of my dish was covered in food that was not what I ordered either. This location was not very cleanly. We used to love going out to the Cheesecake Factory but with our past few experiences I doubt I will ever offer to go back.

Ordered a whole cheesecake to celebrate my friend's birthday and I specifically asked the staff to pack a box of whipped cream. The staff agreed and said they'll note it down. But to my surprise I find that there was no whipped cream in the bag when I got home. Given how expensive the order was and how rich the cheesecakes are, the lack of whipped cream spoiled the whole experience. I find lack of care and consideration the staff have for us truly disappointing.

Work was a nightmare and I knew I wasnt going to get a break, so I bit the bullet and ordered from Doordash. Crazy expensive, but what the heck. Work didn't slow down until about an hour after it arrived, and I was famished! Ordered the quesadillas to share, and the Cobb salad for myself. Remember- $63.00. When i opened it, there was no salad dressing. What am I supposed to do with a cobb salad & no dressing? Out $63.00, furious, helpless to do anything about it and still really hungry. Called manager Chris, who took my info and said would send a gift card for a meal. Never came. Called a few weeks later and got Lydia, who gave me a lot of snotty passive-aggression. “What was the exact date of the meal? I can’t help you if you don’t remember!” So, no replacement meal, out $63.00 and still really furious!

So, it's 4 pm and we are hungry due to a messed up lunch schedule. Aha, there is a cheesecake factory! Let's get something for an early dinner. It should be not busy. But when we got inside, the place was packed. Guess we were wrong about eating early. Nevertheless, we had a great server, delicious food, and good coffee. Seeing how busy it was, I think the economy in this village is doing fine!

The food/drinks were great. The reason for the one star was because I think the manager needs to work on his communication skills. The way he handled the situation tonight was pretty poor in my opinion. The server we had was okay she just failed to mention to us before giving us the to go cups that even though you paid for the alcoholic beverages you can’t take them home with you. (Which we are okay with and wouldn’t cause a fuss about) So she sees me pouring my drink into the container and decides to tell the manger instead of approaching us that you can not do that. The manger comes over and literally tries to take the cup with out even asking if we would like to just finish it before leaving but they can not be taken off the property. Keep in mind we have already paid and just waiting for her to bring back the credit card and receipt. They literally just held on to our credit card even though they already processed it. Without saying a word as to why. I had to literally get up from my seat to ask for the card back. That’s when I was told they wouldn’t give it back until we leave the to go cups and if they simply would have came back over and communicated properly they would have seen that we were not intending to take the drinks anymore but just wanted to go home. We were just tired and only took like two bites of food and just wanted everything to go. But because we paid for the kinda expensive drinks we wanted to finish them. I feel that a simple explanation and to allow us to finish our drinks instead of taking our card and keeping it without coming to the table explaining anything was a bad mistake because we don’t know what you’re doing and holding on to someone personal property makes you reliable for so much stuff. How do we know you’re not writing the information down on our card. I just think the manger wanted/expected us to be hostile or to make a huge scene and that’s just not the type of people we are, and I think with other guest that situation could have gone a lot worse.

The food was really good and came out pretty fast, large portions. Drinks were standard strong. Our server was pretty attentive and overall did a great job. The marshmallow topped cheesecake is out of this world, small plate of wonton crab rangoon as appetizers were fantastic.
Parking: Got there on a Friday night it was horrendous trying to find parking I'm not sure if it was all for the restaurant but I had to drive around for quite a bit to get a spot. I don't think there's a reason to have 10 parking spots reserved for curbside pickup.
