Cajun Boil & Bar - Oak Park

Unfortunately the manager African American man, is very rude and not customer service friendly. He does not greet his guests, every time I’ve come to this location he has angry body language and facial expressions. This is very unprofessional and unacceptable, as Cajun boil is traditionally known for good service and hospitality along with great food. This managers attitude was so bad customers get up to leave because of how uninviting he is. I hope someone will fix this not good for business.

Food was great, but this was a terrible experience! The waitress was inattentive. It took forever for her to take our order. She never brought plates, and only checked in on us once we were ready for the bill. Workers are rude and give off the vibe that they don’t want to be there and that customers presence is an inconvenience.

I was about to get excited I had a whole crab leg in my gumbo. I crack it, slime black stuff was in it, i look at the crab itself close the crabs are old and the flesh inside is black it can be seen through the legs, the smell is horrible. I stopped eating and called their ssa. They manager on duty said they could make me another one. Never again. I will stick to making my own. I dont play bout my food. They wont be open long. Horrible. Sad

I say….GO DJJJJJJJ lol yall she is an amazing server she was very attentive alot of life and she really brings out the atmosphere.. yall go get yall some seafood and ask for dj to be your server u wont regret it.. ill be back and i need my girl dj❤️❤️

Our first time here taking my girl out for a date, she loved it and so did I, specially the lady named Bri was very kind and helpful making us feel at home. We love see food boils and this was a great experience!

Unfortunately my family and I never got a chance to eat here due to the horrible music that was playing as soon as we walked in at 6pm! Definitely isn’t family friendly as we were met with profanity from the music before the host could say hello.

Disgusting tasteless and half done food!!!!

I absolutely love the food of this restaurant, but over time the actual space seems to have run down and is not being maintained. The floor was sticky upon walking to our table, the booth seat was ripped to shreds on both sides, the napkin dispenser had food residue on it. The music is loud and they warn you of that, but that was the least disappointing of the atmosphere. My boil was 10/10! I'm more inclined to order it to go moving forward as opposed to sitting in dirty, broken booths.
