Some places just have "it"! Best Balkan wine list in Chicagoland - OK. one of the few, but still good - truly the best whitefish preparation with a rich but light beurre blanc with earthy mushrooms and a perfectly sautéed (baked?) filet -a nice grilled octopus appetizer and several other choices of starters, salads and mains - every dish that passed our table looked as good or better than the next. But to not mention the exceptional service - servers, runners, ownership...
We had a delightful and attentive server. The choice of background music was great and had a good beat. Everything we ordered was delicious and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend this place and will definitely go again.
This place is a local gem that never disappoints. It has relaxed feel. The bar is well stocked and the wine list is interesting. The dinner menu brings some interesting twists to family favorites by virtue of its Serbian heritage.
