Best malt shakes!! Not the common sugar decoction sold in many chain shops. Sometimes there's a long line, but it's still worth the wait if there's time to spare. But more often than not, the wait times had been less than five minutes.

I love soft serve, welcome to the neighborhood. The swirl cone was delicious but I can't detect a dif between this or hole in the wall. Been there three times already and I'll be back

Hole in the Wall is a unique place that makes South Oak Park a fun, family-friendly place to live. The line may be long, but that's only because everybody LOVES this place.

Hole in the wall is, well a hole in a wall. Very tiny location so the line is always out the door. The menu is pretty expansive and has many ice cream truck treats as well as some delicious frozen custard. Their caramel milkshake is one of the best foods. Ever. It kinda sucks that it's cash only but there is an ATM down the street.

What a perfect spot for ice cream, really good and unique. I got the s'mores and my husband got the brownie something.. but it was so good, we are from Oregon and my husband was so excited to have a really good ice cream, and it didn't disappoint, it hit the spot for sure. They only accept cash, so bring cash with you, I wish they would have some tables so we could sit and enjoy the ice cream, it's only a store where you get the ice cream and go, like a drive thru. I really recommend you check it.

Parking: Street parking on oak park avenue. There’s a lot also across the street. Just walk if you are in the area.
