“We had a delightful waitress who was very helpful in suggesting menu items and drinks. It was an early dinner before a show and we were allowed to take our time ordering and eating with no rush to turn our table. I recommend the Risotto with sausage and Lemoncello cake. Both were excellent. Ambience was old world with a table in the window at the street (b/c it was raining), but they have a delightful patio when weather permits which we'll try on our next visit. Great choice for date night!“

“Pablo, our waiter, was exceptional. During our first visit here, he warmly welcomed us and showcased impressive knowledge of the menu, even extending to items not listed. He encouraged us to customize our meal to our liking, and he certainly delivered! For starters, we chose the grilled calamari and Rockefeller oysters. The calamari was tender and impeccably cooked, steering clear of the typical rubbery texture. Opting for balsamic instead of oil was a perfect choice. The oysters were superb, not overwhelmed with cheese. I ordered the veal picatta from the menu, expecting a thin slab, but was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion size. The angel hair pasta complemented the dish well, although I could have done without the mushrooms – a personal preference, which I should've mentioned. Nonetheless, if you're a mushroom enthusiast, they give you plenty. My boyfriend ordered off-menu, enjoying the Zuppe di Pesce with shrimp, clams, extra calamari, and rigatoni Diablo style in red sauce. It was absolutely amazing and satisfied his taste without being overly spicy. To accompany the meal, I had a glass of the house Chardonnay, which was light and buttery. Even my boyfriend, who doesn't typically drink wine, enjoyed it. Our heartfelt thanks to Pablo and the owner/chef Giovanni for an outstanding dining experience, both in terms of the meal and the service.“

“Great experience, we brought our group of special needs adult participants here for lunch. We were a group of 16, we had multiple employees go out of there way to see if we needed anything. Everyone’s food came out hot, and lots of complements from participants on the taste. Everyone’s order was correct as well. Will definitely bring our group back next time we are in the area.“

“We frequent this location and we love Lou Malnati's Pizza. We celebrated my daughter's birthday. Server was great and attentive though I can't remember her name. She took care of our needs especially with 6 hungry pre-teens dining with us. Only thing that I was put off by was when we asked for some salt for the table, we were told that the restaurant didn't have any salt. When a manager later on dropped by our table I decided to ask again if they had salt, and he apologized for the wait but he had to grab some from upstairs. Very odd thing to run out of in a restaurant I must say, but everything else was great. Thank you, it was a lovely dinner and my daughter and her friends enjoyed the food.“

“Great food. Wait was reasonable as we went across the street for ice cream to pass time. Because it’s Chicago style pizza it takes a minute to cook, but the wait is more than worth it!“
