Never again! Food and service were awful today! There's too much competition in the area to deal with experiences like this.

I am a loyal customer here, but lately I’ve noticed that the quality of the pastries has not been well maintained. For example, when I usually order the apple pastry, it normally comes with about three apple slices, but the other day it only had one slice, and I could barely taste the apple. Also, the raspberry financier was not ready, so I wasn’t able to purchase it. I hope the quality and consistency improve because I’ve always enjoyed coming here.
The lavender lemonade was sooo yummy

Best baguettes around...however the service needs to improve. No smiles and when asked for special items, I'm given smart arse quips. Clean ur self up young man, and remove the half on half off fingernail polish. Looks tacky and makes store look bad. Won't be going back to the Oak Park location too soon

Rude customer service. Worker made us feel uncomfortable, looked like she was on drugs at 9 in the morning, and kept hesitating and asking us “do you really want this?” or “are you really going to pay for that?”. Even had the nerve to ask us “if we had enough money to afford our order” when we literally were ready to pay. The only reason we thought of was discrimination as we were two people of color ordering from a french cafe from a white server. We left initially then decided to come back to confront the worker, to which the worker told us it’s her last day and she doesn’t want the owners to make more money….???? which is WEIRD and on top of that she wanted to give us…”free food..???” The other worker gave us the owner’s number, Collin to whom we called, to which she apologized but did nothing effectively.
Horrible management. Horrible service and doesn’t deserve the business of any person, no matter what their race, color, gender, or sexual orientation.

A nice spot across from Millennium park. We enjoyed their latte and the blueberry scone and a morning roll.
There were two french customers who also seemed pleased with their order.

Really tasty sandwiches and pastry. The coffee also looked good but I held off. Will definitely return to try more things on the menu but the chicken salad and baguette sandwich were quite good.

The croquettes and baguettes are incredibly delicious for a good price. Definitely recommend the apple tartlet, one of the best pastries I’ve tried in the area. Great to see French cuisine in the area!

The food is so good. The bread is to die for . The counter personnel answered my questions with a real smile. The electronic ordering system was very detailed but yes I did have a few. I was lucky later to see the doorway to the kitchen was open. I watched a lot of YouTube videos about food, that place was spotless and since it was a slow time the bakers themselves explained the machines when I peeked in.

This place is wonderful. I have tried four different sandwiches and they have all been great. Whether you want breakfast or lunch, and great coffee, this place will have something you will love and be extremely satisfied.

This is gonna be my new slow Sunday breakfast spot! The owner and staff were very kind and the food was delicious. I got the tomatoe mozzarella with carrot curry soup and it’s a 10/10 !! Also best hot chocolate I’ve had in a while (thanks Walter!! 🤭)

I have been looking for eclairs for so long that looks, tastes and feels like the ones in Europe and some recommended the pierrot gourmet at the peninsula and those where bla, i couldn’t even finish or feel the texture of the eclair because of all the cream😔
But Lea truly nailed it👏👏👏
They are the best eclairs in Chicago ♥️♥️
