Mussels, pappardelle vodka with chicken, and some gelato..all amazing.
I ordered the house red, sat outside, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
The owner stopped out to chat and really made you feel appreciated for dining here. Highly recommend
Beautiful interior, lovely patio, incredible food, stellar service. The experience was delightful and I will definitely be back.

Great old school Italian place. We really enjoyed everything we ordered and thought price was fair. Friendly service as well. We will be back.
In particular I really enjoyed the chicken parm, and the cheesecake.

Outstanding selection of Italian foods and wines and large selection of other wines and drinks. Family friendly, gorgeous restaurant adjacent to a historic classic hotel. Makes me feel like I am back in Europe. Practice your Italian with the owner as well. :)
It was even more of a sanctuary the last couple of nights as my mother is in hospice a few miles away. So it gave our family and friends a little added rest and warmth on top of already excellent service and food.
Thank you for the last two evenings. We will all be back again soon.

Delightful for a special occasion. The kitchen is open to customer preference, adapting the menu as requested. Everything is made from scratch, with attention to detail.
Nick took great care of us, answering all food allergy questions, helping navigate the menu and customize as needed.
The bread was hot and fresh, the Moscato d'asti sweet and light.
For those with an adventurous taste, they offered fettuccine in black squid ink sauce. My son, who is a fan of umami LOVED it, while my tastes were more traditional.
The creme broulee was a perfect end to the meal.

Good food in a pleasant environment. The owner gave us personal attention and is always great.
Came back after celebrating my mom's birthday in July and was disappointed to say the least. Was put at the worst table by the front door and nobody came to get drink orders for 15 minutes on New Year's Eve. Restaurant was NOT busy and had over 15 empty tables and employees walking around. We ended up leaving and spending our money elsewhere.
Lowkey Italian restaurant with authentic food and a nice ambiance!

Great to get back to La Notte after a hiatus of over a year. The food is ALWAYS outstanding! Why then only 4 stars? As delicious as my meal, one of the specials was, there just wasn't much of it or at least as much as I hoped for or expected. Everything is artistic and well presented. Our waitress was very attentive but she had a tendency to mumble or as Seinfeld would say a "low talker". We had to ask her more than once to repeat what she said, likewise the table next to us had to do the same. The ambiance is very inviting and they even featured some live music, a nice treat. Definitely will go back again.

Everything about the meal was incredible, from the appetizers to the main course to the desserts. It was the first time for me and I will definitely be back. Everything was made fresh. Owner and chef Giovanni made our group feel at home. I can't remember having a better Italian dinner.
The food was lovely but the service was poor. We were a group of 13. We weren't able to place our food order for over 30 minutes after we sat down. We ended up flagging down someone to ask for our server to come over. Our drink orders were mixed up a bit. We received some salads we didn't order. Our food came out an hour after we sat down. One of our entrees was incorrect but after waiting so long for it, we just switch plates a bit until everyone was happy with their dinner. The 2 kids in high chairs were served last, like we asked if their food was coming. It would have been lovely if we hadn't arrived hungry or of our 2 hour stay wasn't encroaching on bedtime.
Absolutely one of the best authentic Italian restaurants in the area. Great food, friendly service and good value. If you haven’t tried it … GO!
Staff is attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Food is amazing. You can make changes to menu items easily snd even ask if they can make a dish not on the menu. If they can, they they will gladly do it. Our go to in Oak Park! Great atmosphere. Soft music and lighting. Easy to talk. LOVE their calamari and oysters Rockefeller! The best!
