Great to get back to La Notte after a hiatus of over a year. The food is ALWAYS outstanding! Why then only 4 stars? As delicious as my meal, one of the specials was, there just wasn't much of it or at least as much as I hoped for or expected. Everything is artistic and well presented. Our waitress was very attentive but she had a tendency to mumble or as Seinfeld would say a "low talker". We had to ask her more than once to repeat what she said, likewise the table...

Everything about the meal was incredible, from the appetizers to the main course to the desserts. It was the first time for me and I will definitely be back. Everything was made fresh. Owner and chef Giovanni made our group feel at home. I can't remember having a better Italian dinner.

The food was lovely but the service was poor. We were a group of 13. We weren't able to place our food order for over 30 minutes after we sat down. We ended up flagging down someone to ask for our server to come over. Our drink orders were mixed up a bit. We received some salads we didn't order. Our food came out an hour after we sat down.
