Stopped here for an impromptu lunch. Was not anticipating the quality of the food and service we would receive. They have an ample menu to hit any Italian cravings you may have. The restaurant was clean and appealing. The staff were very courteous and helpful in describing the menu selections. They have plenty of parking and seem to be able to accommodate large groups. Easy to access near the Eisenhower expressway.

Kid-friendliness: They provided crayons and the tables have paper coverings so your budding artist has lots of room to express themselves.

Absolutely love Salerno's, I have been a customer since they were located on 16th st in Berwyn. I ordered the fetticine alfredo with pancetta and it was amazing. Large portion and so creamy. My waitress Jeanne was so awesome. Freindly and attentive. Jeanne sang happy Birthday to a table of two women. Just her singing, so adorable! Moved to Antioch so don't get to Oakpark very often. Someone opened a Salernos in Mchenry. To my disappointment, a total fail! Yikes

We ordered a pizza a salad and cannolis. The food was prepared on time. And all of the food was delicious. Employees were very friendly.

The pizza was too salty, and the cheese was like rubber.

Ordered the chicken parmigiana for takeout. Big portions. The pasta wasn't seasoned, the sauce was ok, the chicken breading was seasoned well but the chicken was bland. They used to give garlic bread with this meal. Today I got one plain small roll. I won't order again.

My bf brought home a slice of their pizza one day. He had went there for lunch and had brought home what he hadn't finished. I took a small bite and almost immediately fell in love. The bread was so thick and soft, the sauce was perfection. I don't remember the toppings, but it doesn't matter because I would eat it a thousand times over even if it was just plain cheese. I had never ever even thought about going to Salerno's for pizza because I always thought it was like another pizza chain with blah pizza(like pizza hut or papa johns) but I was wrong. Salerno's will be my go-to for the foreseeable future. Slices are huge btw!

Nice dining establishment, as far as ambiance and service are concerned. Food was pricy for the quality received. Pizza was actually much better as a leftover than it was when served.

giant slices! super thick dough. overall a pretty good slice of Za.

I order a baked pasta and it was water not baked at all I had to throw my dinner away never again
