While the Lou's salad and deep dish Chicago Classic were great, one person in our party is gluten free and the GF deep dish pizza wasn't good as usual. The GF crust was really hard and it had barely any cheese on it.
Lou's still has the best pan pizza and service is always good!! The place is very loud, however; so even with a party of only 4 in a corner booth in the main dining room (which I highly recommend vs the back room), it was often hard to hear what our companions were saying.
Lou Malnati's is our date night at least once a month. We prefer the bar area for a quieter atmosphere. I love the personal deep dish “The Lou” & my husband loves their Italian beef with mozzarella. Very good, delicious food.

Makkah Catering offers a variety of food, including Mutton Biryani, Hyderabadi mutton biryani, Veggie spring rolls, Apricot delight dessert, Samosa chaat, Dum ka chicken, Seekh kabobs beef, Margherita Pesto pizza, and Classic sausage. The taste of the Mutton Biryani was excellent, and the saalan was too good, worth every penny. It is considered the best in lombard and oakbrook terrace area. The service is great, with knowledgeable and pleasant staff who are attentive and helpful. The manager checked on tables and was amiable. However, one experience noted a cold room with no working heat, and the request to move was not accommodated, resulting in eating with coats on. Deep dish takes about 30 minutes, so salads and appetizers are recommended while waiting. Overall, the food is excellent, with good service, and highly recommended for catering events like weddings.
