Wahaka Margarita Bar and Grill is described as an amazing authentic American Mexican restaurant, the closest thing to authentic Mexican. The corn tortillas are fire, and a margarita with sugar around the rim is highly recommended. It is called the best Mexican restaurant in the area, with food that is a 10/10, welcoming and attentive servers, and margaritas to die for. The ribeye tacos are fire. A chicken dish was good, though the $10 Mexican Corn was criticized as canned corn with mayo, cheese, and spice. A Blonde Gal Bartender was just Awesome. One visit close to closing included an amazing waitress who had guests laughing and was helpful with suggestions; the food was so good and the margaritas were on point. A great meal and good time included a Quesadilla just the way one guest wanted and a Molcajete that was very good, with excellent care from a server who paused to ask if guests were doing ok. It can get noisy, but it was not at all even with a band playing; The Scott Keller Band was enjoyable. A birthday celebration included the Wahaka Special, which consisted of steak, chicken, shrimp, bell peppers, and onions on top of rice covered in queso cheese. It was delicious. The service was decent even with the busyness of a taco Tuesday night. The restaurant was large with plenty of seating and the walls had beautiful, colorful murals.
