La Vigna is a restaurant located south and approximately a mile east of Oregon. It can be found by using a GPS device. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere with low ceilings, and is illuminated by sconces on the walls and Italian lights strung from the ceiling.
Upon arrival, guests are promptly greeted and seated. The menu offers a variety of options, including a grilled Portobello mushroom appetizer served in an interesting sauce. Warm bread is provided with oil and shredded parmesan cheese at the table. The food is out of this world and the bread and desserts are incredible.
Entrees are served with soup or salad, and the Creamy Gorgonzola dressing is recommended. The restaurant offers a range of dishes, such as the Filet Mignon, which is cooked to order and served with mushrooms and marsala wine sauce, and the Scampi Picatta, which is loaded with shrimp. Every aspect from the entrees to the desserts was impeccable.
The wine list includes five house brands, as well as upscale bottles. The restaurant also offers a variety of desserts, including cannoli and Raspberry Sorbet.
