I have to say the inside of this place is beautiful. You can get lost just looking around. bathrooms were clean. However the food was not our cup of tea. The sandwiches Meat was all chopped up with all the dressings almost like a tuna salad or something. I had the brisket sandwich (5) and fries (10). My wife had chicken (5). We also had some pork kind of like ribblet's those were great (8). The cocktails made perfect. The price was very high $62.20 not including the tip, Although I don't think we will be back to eat here we definitely will be back for a cocktail. Thank you Ogle County brewery for feeding us.

Worst customer service. The tables were full, but plenty of bar seating, perfect, or so we thought. The fella behind the bar stood there talking to his friends and poured their beer while we sat there for 15+ min. He didn't even acknowledge us. The only waitress was swamped with tables, while he did nothing. Several other people who arrived after us also walked out, all without being served. We won't be back.

I stopped at Ogle County Brewery in Oregon after visiting the nearby Lowden State Park on a day trip from Chicago with a friend in the Fall. The weather was nice enough to sit on the sidewalk patio in front of the brewery and enjoy a flight of beers. The brewery is located in a historical brick building on main street in town, but the traffic was not too bad. We enjoyed quite a few beers that we tasted. The brewery appears to be a gathering place for the townsfolk a s we could gather from the stage preparations under way for a music performance. The brewery also serves food, but we did not order any food. Ogle County Brewery is certainly a place to stop by if one is in the area.

Because of my relationship to the Lebwicks and Bud Eakle, it was bitter sweet. I think they all would be very pleased and proud of what National clothing has become.

We visited this little brewery in a historic building in downtown Oregon on a quick tour through northern Illinois. It wasn't really on our agenda, but since we were nearby, we decided to stop. They had a good variety of beers, and a nice menu of meals and snacks. We opted for the Brewhaus Bread and Oil which was a great option holding us over until we got to our dinner location. The brewery did have a very heavy deep fry odor. There were also TVs at the bar area and ample seating at tables nearby.

Be forewarned.....if it's a warm day, there is no a/c and it is uncomfortable. Adding to that discomfort are the food offerings, which, at best, are undisguised frozen soft pretzels, frozen mini corndogs ugh, and frozen fish and chips. And to call it "fish" is an insult to every swimming creature! More like a plateful of tiny planks of soggy brownish fish-like disks. And the beer? "Mediocre" is generous. Not cold, and fell short on the taste scale. A decently designed brewery that just disappoints on just about every level and doesn't do justice to Oregon, a quaint Ogle County seat. Service is friendly, we can say that. Oh, and the hot mustard was nice even though the pretzel was a twisted piece of undercooked dough. Prices are unnecessarily high for what they offer. They will just have to get it together and try harder.

My kind of brewery. Ogle has been on my radar for a couple years but Oregon is slightly off our path. After stopping in, I'd go out of my way to come back!Ogle has a modest tap list with a dozen varied choices. There's a little bit here for everyone, and most of their crafts sounded good. As I was driving I only had two, but I was very happy with both. The first was Sanguine Tears, a red Irish ale with toffee and caramel hints. Lighter weight, this one was a really good started beer and one I could have sat and had several glasses of. My second glass was Choco-Latte which goes down super easy. Amazing flavor in this stout nitro containing coffee, chocolate, vanilla and cacao nibs. This is as chocolatey of a beer as I've ever had, and I've had hundreds. I was really tempted to buy a growler..not sure if they do those here or not.We were here for food as well and the Hawaiian flatbread was really damn good. There food and beer menu's have some great choices, many of which I need to come back and try. Great work OCB, you nailed it!Cheers!

You may be tempted to visit because it's a convenient location on the main drag. But look elsewhere. We made a mistake. The margarita flatbread was really good. The beer was decent. The Wheat Star was lacking on taste but Thin Landing Strip was really good. Service and atmosphere were great.

Food was very good and beer was cold. Only complaint was one girl doing everything but cooking food. Slowly more waitstaff was coming out and service was better.

First time there with 7 friends. We were there on a Saturday around 4 and it was pretty empty. I think there was only one person working seems like he was the bartender, server and manager all rolled into one. Seriously...paper plates and plastic utensils were used to serve the food on. Mixed drinks were bad. The beer was ok. Live music was good. The chicken wings were very good all the other food looked like it came pre packaged and either heated up or deep fried. Perhaps in that town this type of food or drinks are the norm.

I don't usually post reviews, but this place was really cool. They had a very unique selection of beers and the service was great.
