We visited for lunch and ended up waiting about an hour for our food. While the waiter was polite, we weren’t informed about the long wait time. The food itself was decent, but I wouldn’t say it was worth the hour-long wait. The atmosphere was pleasant, especially with a nice view of the water, if that’s something you enjoy.
After visiting the nearby rock river dam, we wanted to find a place to cool off and rest before going back out into the heat.
We found this place after a quick search and picked it just because it was the closest spot to us to get out of the muggy weather.
We were delighted to see a familiar bartender who had helped us as a different establishment in Polo. Plus, they had the same menu as the polo restaurant/bar, so we knew the food was going...
