Love the ice cream
I love jays, but, if the online Google page and website say that it’s are open when they aren’t, that is not okay. The website says Jays is open on Wednesday until 8 PM. When actually Jays is completely closed on Wednesdays. And, unless you work there, a person wouldn’t know this until they drove to Jay’s and tried to walk in the door.
Been one of my favorites. Absolutely love everything about it!

Jay's Drive In is a welcoming spot with courteous staff who provide genuine service even during busy times. The restaurant has a fun, nostalgic 50s-60s atmosphere with decorations and a jukebox. Known as a real old-fashioned drive-up diner, it offers amazing food and fantastic flavors. The tenderloin is almost comically large and a must-try, while the chicken bacon ranch wrap is filled with crispy honey chicken and amazing sauce. The root beer is made in-house and is regarded by many as one of the best around, making it a highlight of the menu. The chocolate shake and onion rings are also fantastic. With very friendly curbside servers and kind people, Jay's Drive In is a great stop for a satisfying meal and ice cream, especially for those looking for large portions at a reasonable cost. It’s a place worth visiting again and again, even if it’s a bit of a ride.
