Food was great: fresh, hot, and large portions. We have been coming here for over 3 decades and it is still our favorite Mexican food restaurant. Mexican decor, cozy date night atmosphere.

Burrito Jalisco is a classic Chicago food spot that my family and I go to every time we visit in order to get the wet burritos it's either here or El Cortez. The service and atmosphere were great but the food wasn't up to the level that we remembered but was still pretty good and we love the soup and chips and salsa as well as the hot carrots that are all complimentary. The main critique is that the steak burrito I got had too much steak which sounds kind of weird but...

So I've done dine in and it is definitely an experience. We had the tacos de asada & two margaritas. The staff is great. Today we did take out, we placed our order through the phone and equally their service is great. We ordered nachos I liked the steak and that they put guacamole & sour cream but they dont come with lettuce or tomato you can add it at no charge which is great. 18 for nachos would be insane to me without lettuce or the other toppings. Anyways besides...
