They are short handed tonight and I try to understand. I ordered a Ceasar salad and Porterhouse with tea. Ceasar salad came out with wet lettuce and parmesean but no Ceasar dressing and no croutons. I asked for medium cooked steak and the top half was medium but very dry and the bottom half was well done. I ran out of tea half way through dinner and was never offered another drink until after the check was brought out. I will probably give them a 2nd chance if I am ever in town...
Service was good and most of our food was good with the exception of the asparagus I ordered, which was extremely salty, I.e. to the point it was inedible. When I mentioned that to our server, she said she would “pass it on”. She later returned to convey “others have complained about that too”. Now I’m mildly disappointed there was no adjustment to the check, but extremely disappointed that they continued to serve a product after previous complaints.
Was pleasantly surprised with our early dinner meal today (President's Day) at Longhorn in Orland Park (on LaGrange).
Atmosphere was good, seating comfortable and service good.
