We got the fish and chips and it was terrible. It had absolutely no flavor unless you dipped it in tartar sauce or hot sauce but even then, it was hard to swallow. It he presentation looks good but the taste was far from the truth. They had to move chairs and tables around and they made a lot of noise banging the chairs around plus it was loud in there. We told our server it tasted bland, it didn’t taste like anything and all she offered was some Cajun seasoning so we tried it and it just wasn’t right. $32 for food that wasn’t good and it was hard to swallow. We left disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Being a karaoke , and a pub food connoisseur, I wanted to give this place a chance on Friday when they had fish specials and karaoke! I was not disappointed. I had been to many places in the U.K, but when it comes to fish and chips, this place exceeded my expectations, the fish was flaky, tender and moist, the Guinness chilled perfectly and my wife had the corned beef on rye, that was made and served with love! I am not Irish, but felt like Irish Royalty(if there is such a thing!), and was definitely patriotic when I sang Lee Greenwood’s God bless the U.S.A, at the karaoke!

Shrimp too heavily crusted, dry, somewhat overcooked. Thickly - cut cucumbers in salad, dressing bland. Cute place though.

Didn't feel right rating the restaurant poorly but be aware that parking here is horrible. 95% is permit parking only with threat of tow. There are several spots in back for the chicken place only. There were only may 7 spots for the pub. We were not able to try The Patriot.

Had a large Sheppards pie. Disappointed, flavorless, almost a soup under the dollop of mashed potatoes. Calamari was good. The corned beef was excellent. After the server took our order never saw again. Had to flag down someone to pay the bill. Atmosphere was a bar, clean.

First time visiting The Irish Patriot and it was fantastic. I got the fish and fries and my hubby got the fried shrimp with chips and we shared a Guinness and everything was perfect. Service was great especially the bartender/waiter and the atmosphere was a fun bar vibe with a fun Friday karaoke night. The fish and chips was soooo good! Crispy, large portions and we absolutely enjoyed it. Will definitely visit again!

The waitresses were very attentive and quick. The food was flavorful and affordable. We've gotten the philly cheese steak, Ruben Sandwich, chicken wings, Shepards pie, Irish nachos, and the cream of chicken soup the last couple of times we have gone and everything was amazing. I love the atmosphere my fiance, friends, and I have been a few times for karaoke and events.

The Irish Patriot is no different than its predecessor Paddy B's. This establishment seems to mostly attract a weird, old, insular crowd of regulars who give you looks for being a new patron - it leads to an uncomfortable & awkward setting. The occasional youngsters who go there exhibit arrogance. As for the commonality between the bulk of the demographics that seem to visit? Being loud & obnoxious..but you can find that at just about any bar, so that reserves the benefit of the doubt. The food is average and the service is substandard. The bartender is absent-minded & the waitstaff seem scatterbrained.

We're new to the area, so we were looking to find our local watering hole. Our bartender Jackie and Kayla were attentive and nice. They definitely made a good impression on us!

I'm flummoxed by the many positive reviews for this place. I've probably been in here 4 or 5 times since the place opened when Paddy B's closed. It opened with a lot of promise. It looked so nice. It is not. Of the 4 to 5 visits, I've had 4 to 5 bizarre experiences. Bizarre is probably the best word to describe it here. The bartender walking around in socks one night, a waitress accusing my sister of knocking over an outdoor umbrella rather than assuming (as a normal person might) that it was the wind, locking the door to the outside area when there were still customers out there without telling us they were closing, then TWO employees standing outside the bathroom door waiting for me when I had the nerve to ask to use the bathroom before leaving, music BLARING when the place had about 5 patrons rattling around inside...I could go on. I've never left there thinking, what a fun time. I've only left thinking, I plan to never return again.
Update: definitely a big drug scene here
