Rounding up from 3.5 stars. Food is ok with a decent price. Staff was friendly. I would say the portions aren't as big as you typically get at a Mexican joint.

Best Mexican Restaurant in the area PERIODWe had 103 Chicken Fajitas and homemade guacamole. They made the gauc fresh table side and it was amazing. Great job Don!

First time coming here and I was leaving a bit disappointed due to price. Ordered the chicken fajitas and a soda and it was $20. The fajitas tasted fine, but it wasn't anything to write home about besides price. You can literally go around the corner from this restaurant and go to Fiesta MX and get the same meal for $15 and it taste pretty much the same. Probably won't come back.
There were 4 adults and 1 child. The bill was over $100. The child had a cheese quesadilla and tamale. I had a 10.99 combo with 2 sides. Im not sure how it added up to be over 100 dollars but i was not happy with the food either. There was only one margarita and one bud light so i cant even blame the price on drinks. They got 2/5 orders correct also. The waiter was nice.

About a month ago a group of us went for dinner on a Friday night. We waited in the bar for a table and had a very delicious and strong Margarita! We were off to a good start! Shortly after we were seated in the main dining room. The ambiance was disappointing... the bright flourescent overhead lights killed the relaxing mood we were wanting for a Friday night dining experience and there was not any soft background music. Perhaps by now that has all been adjusted? But, the service was fast and friendly and the food was delicious. So, I would have rated it 5 stars if it had better ambiance for a weekend night out. It felt like a Saturday lunch spot.

In my opinion the best Mexican restaurant in Ottawa. The menu is massive, and they do chicken exceptionally well. Service is good and there's actually quite a lot of space (including a bar area). Also, the margaritas actually have alcohol in them!

Dinner and drinks last night were very good. The service is outstanding and worth the drive. Be sure to try the Cantaritos.
