The first time I order here was when my wife had just given birth to our daughter across the street at OSF. Rather than going to the typical fast food places I decided to given Halftime a try, and we both loved the food. Recovering mom loved the tasty fried chicken, burger and potato skins.
We now regularly bring the whole family here and enjoy the food. The ice cream is a real treat. It's much better to come here to Halftime instead of going to a fast food place where the food costs the same but is no where near as good.

A hour before they close don’t even think about calling, they’re not going to answer. Even earlier, good luck getting anyone to pick up the phone.

They do a great job from front of house to the back. They put a lot of care and work into the food and you can tell! Homemade soup and ranch makes all the difference.

Very nice to see someone have a Monte Cristo sandwich on their menu. It really is brunch in a sandwich and it's pretty good here. The French toast part could be done a bit better as it was a little dry but not enough to ruin the whole meal. It's very open in the place with nothing to break up seating areas which is kind of weird.
Good food and plenty of it comes with your meal. Recent remodel, looks great.

The service here was absolutely outstanding! Every person we interacted with treated us like old friends. They took their time with us even when they were busy, treated my kids like it was a special occasion, and just were so personable and wonderful. It's clean, cute, and cozy inside. The food was delicious, especially the onion rings, soups, fried chicken, and ice cream! Can't wait to come back and try the pizza and walleye!
