Brad is a gracious host! We recently celebrated our small family wedding in the back room. He and his staff were more than welcoming. The food was over the top delicious. Huge delicious ribeyes, perfectly cooked salmon and the best French Onion soup were a couple of the highlights. Think old fashioned supper club but kicked up. Ottawa is lucky to have a number of nice restaurants and this is at the top.
We recently had a fantastic dinner at Monte's with a large group. The service, drinks, and food were all excellent. Many of us had the crab legs and yes they are pricey, but so worth it!
It had been a few years since I’ve been to Monte’s and let me tell you, 100% satisfied. Brad the owner is interactive with all the customers and the food was top tier. I had the shrimp and broccoli Alfredo and my girlfriend had the 18 oz. Ribeye! Both were amazing. Definitely recommend!
Kid-friendliness: It’s a respectable dining experience with very friendly people to run it. Wouldn’t hesitate to bring my kids.
