Julies Mexican Restaurant is described as having the best Mexican food in the area. The asada burrito and guacamole are favorites, and the Steak Buritto is fantastic, with lean, delicious steak and a good amount of it. The beef taco on Taco Tuesday is pretty yummy, with good portions, lettuce, tomatoes, cilantro, and cheese. The Monday burrito special with a steak burrito and chips is excellent, with fresh ingredients. The tortilla is nicely grilled and crispy. The chips are made in house and should be gotten with the guac. The sauces are excellent, all fairly hot, with green, red, and avocado options. The horchata is amazing. The tacos are very good. The rice and beans are meh. Service is great. This place is pretty good for the NW suburbs.
