This is a classic family owned restaurant that has a great selection, good customer focused service. As with most resturants the prices have risen steadily over the years but has great value. They do have a service charge for credit card usage which I am not a fan of.

Cozy. Great food in the Chicago diner tradition! Fantastic breakfast offerings. Good pancakes. I'm Looking forward to trying the saganaki. Delicious soups, nice selection of ice cream, desserts, rice pudding... Best turkey club sandwich in the area-fresh deli meat! All that and great service too!!!

Old school diner/restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. These Greek diners are disappearing and it was nice to find one thriving. The daily soup that came with our meal was homemade and delicious. Our server was super nice and very attentive. Older folks seem to love this spot. They know their regulars but were very welcoming to us newbies. Bread basket, free coffee refills, etc. add to the overall friendliness of Palatine Inn.
