I ordered through Sweet C’s website for a birthday and I was behind on ordering due to my kids being sick. Celia was extremely kind despite it being a last minute order that was 100% my fault.
She had 2 dozen cupcakes for me and they were delicious. Everyone loved them - from the adults to the kids at the party. I always order extra cupcakes to bring home in case I can’t sit down at the party and enjoy a cupcake. I only have 2 left over and now have to share with the kids?! Not happy. Next time I’m giving myself a 6 cupcake buffer instead of 4.
Very easy to communicate with, is on time for pick up the cupcakes and you can still upload a design like she had in store. 10/10 recommend. We went with chocolate cupcakes and a vanilla buttercream. The cupcake will so soft and the buttercream was perfectly fluffy and just the right amount of sweetness. Very well balanced cupcake.
The customer service and the cupcakes were both outstanding. Placing my cupcake order for my birthday today with a 1/2 dozen cookie kit for Halloween.
Dietary restrictions: Able to have some accommodations for dietary restrictions but like many bakeries, cross contamination can happen. She has an info section on this on her website.
Kid-friendliness: She was amazing with my youngest who attempted to place a birthday cake order for June of 2025.

If you’re in dire need for caffeine this place is fine however it appeared they have no idea what they are serving. I asked what kind of drip coffee they had on and was met with a reply of umm just normal coffee. It has caffeine…… so then I just ordered an americano and had to walk through the steps to make that drink. They also have very limited syrups.

I love our hometown shops! Sweet Cs has been a staple in Palatine and one of my favorite places. Today I went to pick up a balloon order and ended up talking to the owner about future business ideas. She’s the best! Always greeted with kindness and she never forgets my name!! She offers military discounts (thank you for honoring their service) too. If you haven’t stopped in, go grab one of her delicious treats. You won’t be disappointed! She is one of the hardest working people ?

Great cookies & amazing talent! Usually a decorated cookie either looks good or tastes good, Celia has hit both marks. We love the cold brew here too. Will definitely return.
