50 Best Bar & Grill near Palos Heights

“I've been going to Tuesday Bar bingo for about 2 years. I don't win often but enjoy a good group get together. Recently I won three games in one day. On Memorial Day, my husband and I stopped for lunch wanting to use the certificates. On the certificate, it states for use "only" on Monday, Wednesday & Thursday. No mention of holiday exclusion. Before ordering, we asked about using all of our certificates and found that it was one per table. Ok. We ordered. The manager said we couldn't use it on a holiday. We debated that and she allowed us to use one. I gave my other two to two couples at other tables. Come to find out from the manager that her decision to allow "us consideration for use of the certificate on a holiday" only applied to us. I had to go back and take back those I gifted. How embarrassing. To me, Rooftop Tap makes it very hard to use their prize certificates. I've spent on average $30 + tip every time I go to bingo and this is how they treat customers. I suggest that you "clearly state" on the certificate your terms. They lost my business and possibly that of a few friends that normally meet for that Tuesday bingo.“

“Went here for the first time. I had the 1/2 lb Classic burger, medium rare, with Pepper Jack cheese and fries. My friend had the Al Pastor tacos. The burger was very well seasoned and cooked perfectly. Fries were wonderful. I normally can't eat a whole 1/2 lb burger. I couldn't stop eating this one. My friends Al Pastor tacos, on a flour tortilla, had a generous amount of meat, more than anywhere else we have been and it tastes fantastic, with just a hint of heat. Our Margaritas, made with Metzcal were delicious.“

“They have the best cheeseburger in Chicago. I went there in 2012, and 2013 on Kedzie, and omg it’s the best. I used to live in Highland Indiana and I took public transportation which it was GPTC bus to Downtown Hammond, and pace bus from Downtown Hammond Indiana to Downtown Harvey Illinois, and pace 349 from Harvey Transportation Center to 111th and Western, and CTA Route #112 bus from 111th and Western to 111th and Kedzie. Well now since I finally move to Chicago Auburn Gresham with my fiancé, and now I live 15 minutes away. I take 79th Street bus from 79th and Ashland to 79th and Kedzie, and transfer to CTA Route #52A Southbound and go all way to 111th and Kedzie. I’m even more glad you guys reopened which I had no idea where you guys relocated at Thanks to my friend Tracy for telling me where it is. I went there with my fiancé Raymon. I’m so glad you guys are amazing, and the service was great too. I’ll be back. This place is even very affordable.“

“Well, if they cook your food properly, it's not bad... however, if they don't and you need to send it back to cook it (not a fan of raw burgers 🤷‍♀️) and it comes back the same way... be prepared to not eat and pay for the meal anyway. I asked for it to be removed from our bill (over $100 total so not just a couple things) and they removed it after a small "fight" but literally charged us for a basket of fries cuz I ate a few fries off my plate, I guess. they don't take care of their mistakes nor do they care to make things right. Lost future business, everyone at the table was shocked.“

Blake is an excellent bartender and host who makes you feel at home. He has a friendly personality and always has a smile on his face. Megan is a wonderful waitress who is friendly and outgoing. Best of all she makes us feel special because she always remembers what we like best. The owner (Roger) is a great person and always greets us with a big smile. “We held a celebration of life for my brother here today. About 50 in attendance in the stylish, comfortable upstairs area. Despite the fact that I planned this from 400 miles away and without having ever seen the venue, it went off without a hitch due to Mr. David Candiotti and his staff. No surprises. Everything was as promised. The venue is extremely stylish and rustic. Food was delicious and plentiful as were the drinks. Service was fast, efficient and friendly thanks to Mona, Alberto and Olena. I highly recommend.“

We were celebrating a 70th birthday and we were treated to several amazing desserts. The service was above and beyond our expectations. We booked our Christmas party here in December.“

“This bar is a very nice GEM that has a great decor. The beers are ice cold and the drinks very refreshing. Taco Tuesdays are very tasty and the catfish dinner is Awesome. This is a very friendly bar with colorful characters. Watch the game from any seat or select a song from touch tunes and dance your cares away. Try you luck on the gaming machines or just have a couple of drinks with your buds.

“I've been going to both joes on 51st. Both are usually good. It's still the best bang for your buck, however, today I has the ribeye med well Hashrowns with onion bell peppers and cheese with French toast and everything was a hit. “There’s nothing to better start your Saturday morning than a good, hearty breakfast and a great tasting cup of coffee: Bailey’s is that place! I pass this restaurant often, yet I’ve never stopped to dine in, until today! I am so glad that I did! The service was truly top notch: from entry to exit! The servers, hostess, and waitresses were polite, friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. I did not have to ask for refills on my coffee, my waitress kept the Java following. I had a guess with me and we both had a hearty, delicious breakfast! I ordered their Denver Skillet: scrumptious to the very end. Not one flavor, overlap the other: each ingredient came together to make for a delicious meal. I love coffee and typically, they aren’t that good at breakfast restaurants. Not the case at Bailey’s. I was able to drink the coffee without any sugar-in-the-raw or dairy. The coffee served here is just plain on good to the last drop! I sat and watch how staff interfaced with each other and the guest: they were excellent! My guest had crepes, with bacon which she fell in love with! The crepes were served with fresh strawberries and crème. She absolutely enjoyed her meal. We both, continued complimenting the food and service. The restaurant was very clean. It didn’t have that “food smell” that can usually be found in other restaurants. The restroom was clean. I always scope out restrooms because I believe if they’re unsanitary, the food preparation might be as well. The restroom was clean and had a fresh smell to it. The entry of the restaurant reminds you of an old country porch: hospitable and inviting. I hope this restaurant maintains its charm and cleanliness, as well as great service and quality food offerings. I will be returning. I don’t understand the negative reviews I see. I can only speak for my experience which was an excellent one. I walked away highly pleased.“

“One of the only bars in Oak Lawn that I frequent. This place is like going to a cousin's house, the atmosphere is always cool and chill, the DJ plays good music, you can usually run into the owner inside and she is a beautiful person and really down to earth. Drinks are great and my favorite food on the menu is the salmon bites (fried salmon strips). This is the new Cheers actually. Everybody here is very friendly and welcoming, again it's like being at a cousin's house so you basically just speak to everybody inside and bond. Thank you Geneva, love this place.“

Everything was wonderful, plenty of space for guests to keep a social distance, bar option available, a nice stage and Dj booth for music. Everything was very clean and modern.
