“I really loved this place, it’s a great spot to get a drink and hangout with friends. The main reason why I think people should come here is because I’m a local and there is not a dive bar in the area that provides this level of service. The bartenders are kind and attentive, you will get a drink without waiting too long and you will feel comfortable and safe. Yes it may be slightly pricier but not by much, this is the kind of place that makes it worth it. I am not a regular but I will be after tonights visit. My local bar being Mr. Cs has disappointment me with their management but this place will treat you 10x better. Please come and visit Jennifer and Colm, they were the best bartender and I’m sure they will treat you well also.“

“My dad and I came in for food and drinks before the sox vs. dodgers game, we had such an awesome experience. He had the grilled cheese cheeseburger while I had the Latino burger. The fries here are arguably the best type of fries which just added more awesomeness to my opinion of the place. The mac and cheese was great and super cheesy, the burger was FANTASTIC. The blend of flavors were so good.

Was also awesome to be there while they had representatives there for Super Lyte which was a plus.

The bathrooms were cleaner than expected which was a pleasant surprise. Overall 10/10 experience would recommend any day of the week“

“The Balboa absolutely delivers. The thinly sliced ribeye was tender and packed with flavor, and the combo of grilled onions and mushrooms added the perfect savory depth. The mix of mozzarella, American cheese, and cheese sauce made it rich without being overwhelming, all melted perfectly into the sourdough. The bread had a great crisp on the outside while staying soft inside, and the chipotle mayo on the side gave it a nice extra kick.

Overall, a seriously satisfying sandwich—definitely one I’d order again.“

“We held a celebration of life for my brother here today. About 50 in attendance in the stylish, comfortable upstairs area. Despite the fact that I planned this from 400 miles away and without having ever seen the venue, it went off without a hitch due to Mr. David Candiotti and his staff. No surprises. Everything was as promised. The venue is extremely stylish and rustic. Food was delicious and plentiful as were the drinks. Service was fast, efficient and friendly thanks to Mona, Alberto and Olena. I highly recommend.“

“Visited early afternoon Fri 12/19. Felt sorry for the only woman there to serve, as she was covering both the bar and all tables. The place was packed. I hope she made bank in tips. I give her all the credit in the world for her exceptional friendliness and attitude. As our group was leaving, we did see another server, so I hope our original server got some relief.“

“This is not your typical ‘bar food’. Everything we have tried there is higher quality Restaurant Food. Bartenders … especially Artie and Kristy are attentive, efficient and fun ! The 0wner, Tommy is usually hanging around and is friendly and accommodating. Sometimes due to allergies I have to alter the menu a little and he doesn’t hesitate to switch things around a little… Do yourself a favor… stop in for a great meal and enjoy a friendly atmosphere.“

“I don't know where to start, but I had a great time, and dinner was delightful. Most of all, my server was amazing. She did a great job with dinner recommendations, and her personality/vibe was spot on. She helped explain the different entrées and took the time for me to look over
