“So excited to have a new food spot near home. Absolutely Loved it!! Try this spot if you are looking for a fresh, clean, healthy and delicious meal. I ordered the chicken kabob bowl and the meat was flavorful, juicy, and chargrilled goodness. Also ordered the hummus. The portion was large enough for two to share. The staff was really nice and patient as I navigated the menu. They walked my food over to my table. Ten out of ten stars. I'd come back again and again and again.“

It's getting harder these days to find restaurants that haven't excessively increased prices while lowering the overall quality of their food. Definitely worth the visit for great Mediterranean.“

The hummus was very creamy and flavorful and the chicken was perfectly spiced and very juicy! Kebabs can often be dry and this is not the case here! Very god portions for a reasonable price! “My husband and I enjoyed a delicious and authentic middle eastern meal this past weekend. The food was fresh and flavorful. The owner did the cooking and we even learned a few words of Arabic with his help! Shkran! The location is tricky to find as the restaurant is tucked away in the corner of a strip mall on Cumberland Avenue. We live in the northern suburbs, but were in the Norridge area on business. We might even travel to Bab al Salam for no reason at all! There is plenty of casual seating and many people stopped in for take out. Enjoy!“

Got an appetizer combo and meat combo with lentil soup and a Turkish coffee. It reminded us of our favorite Mediterranean restaurant In Cleveland.“

“Great place with great service. Only issue they have is not enough parking and prices a bit on the high price (vegetable appetizer should not cost $20). Great atmosphere that follows original location. Staff always very attentive but sometimes a bit too much. Will definitely go there again.“

Better than Kabobi, better than Kabul.

“This was my first time visiting Masada and they did not disappoint!! I went on Afro Beats night which they do every Friday and Saturday. The energy and vibe is top tier!! I like that it’s not too big but there is just enough space to dance and have a good time. The DJ was jamming the entire night and the drinks were really good. I could actually taste the alcohol and not just juice lol. I recommend this place to anyone looking to just have a good time and get lost in the music.“

Walking in was a little confusing for first timers but we were quickly welcomed and seated at the bar. Drink pours were impressively heavy. Our food came out fast and was great. The cheese burek appetizer deserves special mention with its garlic and hot sauces! Our waiter/bartender was in full hustle mode on a busy Friday night but still found time to take good care of us and have a few short chats. Overall I’d highly recommend eating here. It’s a bit “different,” but who likes the same old thing over and over? I’ll be back.
