Our Google GPS took us on a ten minute tour of Paxton (which has a nostalgic downtown) before taking us to the Paxton Family Restaurant which is actually just a few seconds west of the I-57 exit!The building is non- descript from the outside, but the atmosphere inside is small-town warm and friendly. The service was great and the staff very friendly. I had the biscuits and gravy, and it was as good, if not better, than any I could have made at home. It was very good!!! The menu is huge with so many choices. People around me seemed to enjoy their food!

Love this place. This is gonna be my mandatory stop for now on, on my way to Rantoul food.. The waitresses are very, very nice and professional. Thank you, family Paxton restaurant..
