I ordered takeout from Avantis in Pekin for the first time (actually my first time EVER having Avantis at all). I was pretty disappointed with the serving sizes of the items. I ordered a large cheese ravioli and got approximately 7 or 8 raviolis. The only reason I think this is unfair, is because as a meal I paid $17 for this. Some other items I ordered the servings were decent. But, for spending over $100, it just seemed like it wasn’t a whole lot. Another thing I was disappointed...
Rough dinner service. Food was good and reasonably priced. Bill was $42 for four of us. Service was slow it was a long time for our waitress to visit the table. 2 other staff were trying to help. Waitress got one of the four orders wrong. When we went to pay there was some sort of issue with another table paying for the wrong bill so checkout took way too long. We will go back because we have had good service before and its a good value.
Ordered 3 dinners for pickup. One was linguini carbonara which I did not get. Instead I got tortellini. Ordered a salad with French, got no salad dressing at all. Did not want to drive all the way back from Mapleton to get it straightened out.
