Cranwill's Rootbeer Stand/ Drive In

God do I love this place. Root beer is phenomenal and it’s a pretty niche place. You also eat in your car but sit there the whole time which is unique.

Awesome service. Meal cane out quickly. Fries and coleslaw were pretty good. The tenderloin was a little dry. Love the homemade Rootbeer.

Coney Dog and Hot tamale were lukewarm. Ice cream in sundae was grainy.

Legendary root beer stand. It has been in Pekin for over 40 years. Nice variety of selections and food is always made to order. Root beer is delicious and so are the baked potatoes.

Cranwills was delicious as always. I try to make a stop at least 1 time a year when im in the area. Love the coney dogs and they are the same i have been getting since a kid with my dad. Was even suprised today that they gave me a sundae to celebrate my 38th birthday. Was such a sweet thing to do and i didnt expect they would since i never knew they did anything for birthdays.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is no inside to this building (for customers) so it is wheelchair accessible in that you either stay in your car or you can get a wheelchair up to the few outdoor tables under the awning. Getting to the tables might take a little help to move the tables a bit to get through depening on wheelchair size.

Awesome food. I had pepper jack bacon burger and fries wife had the tenderloin it was reallygood. My daughter had the kids grilled cheese she loved it. Best rootbeer I've had in a long time.

My wife absolutely adores this place so we try to make it out at least once a season. Pretty solid food and service, but for her it gets 5-stars for nostalgia. There’s just something about cool homemade root beer in a frosty mug, and it’s even better when it’s served on a tray that hangs on your car window.

Amazing place for a classic drive-in and carhop. Workers are amazing and so is the food! Me and my boyfriend always go there for their root beer, always leaving a half gallon or two.

Definitely also recommend their cheese fries! My go-to all the time. Not much to recognize but I appreciate that they give you a fork when you order them.

Absolutely love to get my Coney Dog when I come into town. Absolutely delicious can I eat too though very filling. The root beer is creamy and smooth, very good.

Old school drive-in,with homemade rootbeer! Nostalgic and a great place for a quick lunch. In an industrial area but easy to get to. Food and service was great! My husband was even able to have a diet root beer,a plus!
