Been there twice now. First time I had biscuits and gravy. The sausage gravy had great flavor but was seriously lacking on sausage. However, we did try the fried chicken the next time and it was very good. I found it odd though that I did not see regular old pancakes on the menu.

🚫 Worst Breakfast Experience Ever 🚫
At Ernie’s on Block Island, our server spilled a drink on me, mocked what I said, and got snippy when I asked for clean plastic silverware. My son got the same treatment when he asked for hot sauce. No manager came to check in, and the only kind person was a young boy clearing tables. Never again. #CustomerServiceFail #BlockIsland

I had the 2x2x2 for $8.50. My eggs were great and pancakes seem little smalller than usual and my bacon was tad overdone, everything tasted great.

Big portions, but I think my food sat a lil while before my waitress grabbed it to serve. My hashbrowns were already starting to soggy and it wasn't hot, more like lukewarm. Coffee was good, service was good. No other issues except the temp of my food. I like this place & will come back.

We need more places like Ernie's! The food is fantastic (one of the best patty melts I've ever had), pricing is super affordable and reasonable. Staff are easily some of the nicest people you will ever meet anywhere! I'm only sorry they don't have a location where I live. Definitely a great place to get a good, home cooked meal in a nice atmosphere!
