“I have been purchasing coffee from LNB for about 6 years now, maybe longer! Shannon is always so wonderful to work with at the Peoria Heights location. He always remembers me and is such a wonderful person. I can tell he enjoys his job and he always excels in delivering amazing customer service! I guess I am a coffee snob because no other coffee beans will do! Oh! And your Morton location also has given me the same kind of customer service! The lunch sandwiches are wonderful! Keep up the great work!“
“Unique custom coffee blends for sale and in store. Coffee aficionado's say it's some of the best coffee anywhere. Small sandwiches and a large variety of teas(iced or hot). Nice, friendly service. Dine in or take out. A true hidden gem.Highly recommend.“
“Man I'll tell you what this McDonald's brings back the old McDonald's I knew as a kid I had a 40$ order through GrubHub hands down the best service I've had in a long time the quality of the food was even better than the other McDonald's in the Peoria area they even gave us straws with our order this will definitely be my go to McDonald's they know how to appreciate the service of a customer the food was so good I had to call there and thank them personally.“
“Fantastic place to stop in for a high-quality espresso.I visit the Peoria area roughly once every two years, and CxT has been my go-to spot for coffee while I'm in town for the past couple of visits.Their standard house espresso (as a doppio) is part of my morning routine every day, and I haven't found an espresso to match it elsewhere in Peoria. The baristas are fantastic and knowledgeable about their products, the store is kept clean and has a nice appearance, and I've felt nothing but welcomed whenever I've come in.From the brief couple of times I've tried other drinks (a cappuccino here and there, something akin to a maple cayenne latte a couple weeks ago, etc.) they've been excellent as well, but I don't know if I'd say they're completely different than what you'd find at any other high-quality café.Anyway, I'd highly recommend CxT Roasting Company to anyone, but especially for those espresso aficionados out there.“
“When "Walgreens" pops up as one of the few options for coffee on Google maps, you can't help but lower your expectations. But omg Zion just went ahead and raised them right back up. This place is sick. Massive windows, lots of plants, a patio, a loft, couches, and a roaster right inside the store. This Scandinavian styled coffee shop is the stuff of legends, easily putting the rest of Peoria's coffee shops to shame. The baristas were energetic, knowledgeable, and fly as hell; the drinks were equally amazing. I got a chai latte, which looked so pretty I could barely drink it, and tasted so good I could barely stop to take a picture. Def check this place out“
“My husband and I stopped in while in town today, for our first time!! Great food, wonderful drinks and outstanding service! Carrie P waited on us and she was wonderful! We own a restaurant in central Illinois and we appreciate hard working staff that pays attention to detail and are a joy! We will absolutely be back!“
“Ardor provides an incredibly wonderful culinary experience right here in downtown Peoria. The food is so fresh, high quality, and full of amazing flavors. Their menu features many different options and each is beautifully presented by the very talented crew. I’ve enjoyed watching the staff prepare the food to absolute perfection - Alyssa and Kaitlynn in the mornings and Emily and Zeke in the evenings. I regularly pop in and sit at the bar without a reservation. If you don’t wish to sit at the bar, don't be surprised if you can't get a table without a reservation, and even at the bar there can be a wait to get a seat. Last week I had the tomato soup and grilled cheese and it was the best comfort food. Visit often, try the new items, find your favorites, and definitely take home some bakery goodies. Make sure to try a fabulous cocktail crafted by mixologist, Kostas. You won’t be disappointed.“
“Maria and I popped in on a day that was supposed to be rainy and storm but ended up nice and sunny. We both hadn't heard about this place until I did some Googling and we made quick plans to visit it at our earliest convenience. We just happened to pick a day when they were doing road construction and I wasn't sure I would even be able to get in but there were other cars parked there so I knew coffee was soon in my future. The parking lot itself was very small and shared with the other businesses in this... interesting building. We parked and headed in and I was instantly feeling like we were in a house converted into a coffeehouse. No complaints there as that is one of my favorite aesthetics for a place that slings caffeine. The interior is rather small and tight but the decor was a homerun. I loved the things hanging on the wall, the cork coasters with fun little coffee sayings, the general vibe of it all tied together.Maria ordered her latte and I ordered my usual Americano and we took the seats next to the front door. It didn't take long to get our drinks and we settled in to our usual coffee hangout routine. While I loved the coffeehouse, I was indifferent on my drink. It wasn't as bitter as I usually like and had a weird... I don't know... diluted sweetness to it. While I always enjoy what I get to a certain extent, I would definitely ordered something different if I ever came back.If you are hungry, they don't have a food menu but there was some slices of cake or baked goods on hand. Not really sure what they were as there was no labeling to identify what they were (aside from one being GF, which would be for Gluten Free).Luckily, I really enjoyed the coffeehouse itself despite the cramped lounge/parking lot and the lackluster (in my opinion) Americano. It's a place I wouldn't hesitate to come back to for a caffeine fix.Parking: Parking lot isn't really marked and shared with neighboring businesses. Shouldn't have too much trouble finding a spot unless it's at rush hours.“
“Indian is my favorite cuisine, and I say with no hesitation, Bollywood Bites is the best I’ve ever had. I wish I had taken photos of the entrees, but once they came out we were too busy diving in to think about taking our phones out! We started our meal with #9: Gabbar Gobi 65 Dry, which is a fried cauliflower appetizers that my party of three agreed could have been an entree. The flavors were phenomenal and you’d have a hard time telling that it’s a vegetable (yes, that good!). For entrees we went with #31: Bollywood Biryani (which is a screaming deal at $14), #52: Rangeela Lamb Rogan Josh (the blend of spices is sophisticated and elegant), and #63: Hariyali Chicken (we did our best to break the chicken down to small bites so we could savor it for as long as possible).I’ve lived in Peoria for almost two years now and can’t believe that I’m just now becoming a patron of Bollywood Bites. I will be back, with every friend and family member I can gather.“
“Incredible coffee and service. The coffee comes from the family farm in Columbia, and they use the farm as a place to offer employment and training to a population and demographic that might otherwise be overlooked.Over the last 3 weeks I’ve visited 3-4 times and the quality is consistent with each visit.Home made and/or locally sourced pastries are available (and delicious). The owner Marta is inspiring, friendly, and makes incredible drinks. Her staff, as well.Parking: The lot is not huge, but even with 8-10 people inside parking is no problem. There is a lot of street parking.Wheelchair accessibility: The ground level is very spacious.“
