I don’t know what a restaurant like this is doing in the middle of Peoria, Illinois but I’ll take it! This bakery is the best bakery we’ve seen in the US so far (and we travel a lot). I got the breakfast sandwich and the croissant they used melted like butter. They used thick real bacon, not some store bought brittle crap. Oh my gosh as I have been around the world recently I have not enjoyed food so creatively and fantastically and freshly and enthusiastically prepared as here in my home town at this wonderful place!!! Come here, drive here, make the trip.... oh my
I stopped today to try their baked goods for the first time. Caramel apple danish & , cream, cheese, brioche bun. Both were amazing! Perfect blend of sweet and flakey danish or fluffy brioche and sweet. There was a line at the grab and go counter but it moved quickly. Next time we will get breakfast it looked wonderful.
