Managers were rude to me on the phone on Rockwood. Said they try to reach me by phone but lied my phone never ringgg!! All the money that I've spent at avanti's

Got seated quickly with a large party. Food was as expected.

Our server really had the attitude that she would rather be somewhere else. I ordered french fries, and what few there were, were cold. I ordered a toasted turkey and cheese sandwich. It was supposed to come with horseradish sauce. It didn’t. The server asked if I wanted mayonnaise or something with my sandwich. I said “yes, The horseradish sauce” she kept calling it “turkey sauce “ so I wasn’t sure we were talking about the same thing. Additionally, I paid 6.99 for the sandwich, and an additional $4.19 for the gluten-free bread. Not sure how that makes sense? Will definitely not be eating at Avante‘s again anytime soon.

Avanti's has always been one of my favorite places to eat. It has been so good for so long.
It seems like it is slipping when it comes to The Gondola. There seems to be more cheese & the bread tastes different.

The food is always good, but the service is always mediocre at best. Server delivers good and never returns! Sit there with empty glasses. Especially when you sit everyone on top of each other. Just do better!

My spaghetti and salad and of course the yummy warm bread were delicious and my waitress was great. My to go order of a meatball sandwich was the worst sandwich I ever had. Meatballs were small, dry and hard. There was hardly any sauce on the meat. My dog like it, that says it all, doesn’t it???

I just left from ordering two Pizza burgers a chicken noodle soup two fountain drinks and some chips when I got my food out the bag and open it they have played all over my food my sandwich was soggy the cheese is melted to the bread and it's rubbery it's not even edible and then they don't have the nerve to tell me they can credit me for my food or make me another sandwich I think I need a credit and a sandwich! This is the third time I had to waste gas and go back and forth to go get my sandwich fixed properly. They need to close down Rockwell avantis East Peoria be doing the job correctly. I wouldn't feed my dog this sandwich ❗🫣

When we walked in the atmosphere changed and they acted like they didnt want to seat and serve us. They offered us booth or table and so she assumed we said yes to the booth but then we walked over to the table after we said we will take the table instead and she just had a disgusted look on her face. Thats besides the point. After we got seated we waiting for the waiter to come to get our drink order for about 10mins there was only one othet couple in there when we were seated this bigger table just left and it was almost cleaned up. Then he came back gave us our drinks and too our order. Usually the kids orders come out first at ANY restaurant because they know its hard for them to sit still for long periods of time. All of the rownups orders came out first then 10 mins later the kids spaghetti finally comes out and then he kept forgetting my kids pizza and took over 45mins for it to come out. When they said it should be just a few mins. Then it didnt even have pepperoni after all that time of waiting. I have worked in food service and customer service and how we were treated was very poorly. I have been going here since I was a kid and my parents would bring me now its a bunch of highschool maybe college kids that would rather talk and gossip than do there job. Im not sure we will be back and I will be making sure everyone is know will see this or hear about it.

This place used to be at the epitome. Now it's kind of bland foods not that great bruschetta was okay lasagna was definitely middle the road not great not horrible. Nobody else particularly like their food either got them by. Service was great though.

Always a pleasure. Love the sweet rolls with whipped butter. Lasagna was competent.

Ordered spaghetti to go once and AYCE once. Why does my morning after still smell like my dinner? Stouffers taste just as good, in my opinion. Too similar really which begs the question, who had the recipe first? It's okay, most people order the Gondola anyway but I can't eat that.
