Matt Parod, a lefty and the most radical liberal hater who is publicly celebrating Charlie Kirk's death! Shame on this restaurant having this dude as an employee!😡
Don’t recommend. We arrived at 6:45 on a Tuesday night. Took well over 10 minutes to even get a server to our table for drinks. Then we placed our order and it took over an hour to get our food. Donnelly's Irish Pub in Peoria is well-known for its pleasant atmosphere and excellent service. The menu features a variety of pub foods and drinks, including a vegetable salad, an Impossible burger, and a selection of sandwiches. While vegetarian options are limited, the Impossible burger and salad are priced at $13.00 and $7.25, respectively. The pub is famous for its signature dish, the burger, and offers a wide range of drinks, including Jameson Orange.
Recently, the pub has expanded its hours and now opens on Sundays, offering a shorter but still satisfying menu with favorites like wings, scallion dip, cheese curds, Waterford chicken, smashed burger, and a buffalo chicken sandwich. Customers have enjoyed the food, cold beer, and the chance to watch football, making it a fun spot for a Sunday-funday. Visitors have praised the quick service and the comfortable, clean environment. Many find the separate rooms for the bar and dining area convenient and appreciate the low-calorie and lighter meal options available, making it a good choice for those looking to eat healthy.
Some recent guests noted that the food was generally good, with the fish being crispy and well-prepared, and the chicken sandwich tasty. The beer-battered onion rings were hot and tasty. However, a few customers experienced issues with menu descriptions and billing, such as discrepancies with dinner options and charges for chicken tenders, which were clarified and refunded. Overall, the service remains impressive, and many guests expressed a desire to return often. The restaurant continues to be a comfortable place to enjoy lunch or dinner with friendly staff and good food.
