Stay away from allegiant. Garbage service, terrible flights, and customer service is downright atrocious.
Refused to accept my ID at a bar in the airport a week after my 21st birthday even though they accepted it to allow me onto the plane. They only refused service because my ID was still vertical at the time.
Great airport
Limited food options, but usually comfortable experience. They really need to provide some power/charging points at the gate seating.
Great Midwest Small town airport without have to drive 2 to 3 hours for Main Line Airlines.
I just have to say that Ryan in baggage & Supervisor John from American Airlines are exceptional examples of humanity being alive and well while navigating through frustrating circumstances, providing excellent customer service with knowledge, understanding, patience, friendliness and willingness to go above and beyond! American Airlines & Peoria Airport are very fortunate to have such assets! Thank you :)
Absolutely hands down the WORST experience that I’ve ever had flying. BEWARE, the staff is absolutely AWFUL and possess 0% customer service capability. Management was just as bad as the counter. NEVER AGAIN. The group ahead of us had to adjust items between bags to make weight, it took forever, no big deal, but THEN , when we got to the counter they told us we MISSED the check in period by ONE MINUTE?!? And then made us abandon our luggage there in the airport so that we could make the flight! DO BETTER PEORIA !!!
It's small airport with quick TSA checkpoints.
Amazing airport
Routinely incompetent ground crew. On arrival have sat on the tarmac for 30+ minutes on multiple occasions because they didn't have anyone to wave us in. Have had multiple morning flights delayed basic maintenance wasn't even started until after departure time on flights where the plane has arrived the previous night. The inability of the airport to do these basic tasks is shameful

A very easy & nice airport!
An absolute nightmare flying with united from Peoria to Chicago. Was supposed to leave Peoria at 9am. It’s 7:10pm and they don’t even have a plane assigned. The workers are on standby waiting for an aircraft to become available. Absolutely recommend just driving to O’Hare. I thought flying out of Peoria would make things more convenient but I was totally wrong.
Side note - food options are very limited so eat first and eat big, you might be here a few days.
Update: Our plane never showed up so we had to stay over night. Thankfully United at least put us in a hotel and gave us a 15$ meal voucher. I didn’t make it home to Los Angeles until late at night the next evening.
Easy airport to get in and out of for a trip.
Feel like it's 50/50.
TSA in my experience has been fine. It's the gate agents that aren't the kindest but that's more on the airline.
Nice airport. Clean.
Clean and convenient but the kitchen, snack, bar area is very outdated. The wait staff were very good but unsupported from management. The cash drawer ran out of $1.00 bills with no Plan B. The area is cramped and mostly chaos at peak times. The bar area has the oldest televisions in the history of old televisions. Bartenders were observed and freely discussed that they were unable to mix a Bloody Mary or a Manhattan. Come on Peoria!
