It was so quick and easy to get through security. The gates were close to each other so you don't have to walk far. All in all, love this airport!
Small airport.
No where to eat, drink, etc.
But quick in&out.
United Airlines failed to charge the plane's battery (emergency lighting). Caused a 3+ delay!!!

Fast and easy airport
We went to take part in the honor flight welcoming home veterans!
Parking is free but restaurant options are extremely limited and not that many airlines service this airport. There is one water bottle refill station past security. Security is only open 2 hrs before flights depart, and closes the gate otherwise so you can't just go through and wait if you are early for your flight.
Very nice, easy to drop off and pick up passengers. I’m looking forward to increased parking lot capacity.

The Peoria airport is pretty traveler friendly. Lines are usually reasonable and the TSA is cordial.
The young lady Donna at American Airlines desk to check bags and tickets was so helpful. Mrs. Donna took my heavy bags (work tools) which 1 was border the other def over. Instead of charging for the bags she upgraded me without me asking without saying anything about it just was helpful. Great worker better person what we need more of. Thank u Donna
Two stars solely for: TSA and staff are friendly, security easy and quick; free parking.
I have literally never had an on time flight out of this airport. It's seriously 0/8 for me or something like that at this point. I started just going to ORD and eating the 3 hr drive because PIA is that unreliable. Every so often I'll try again, every time I've been impressed with how this airport functions despite it literally never having on time flights.
EXTREMELY SLOW we were the last flight for the day coming into Peoria Airport and it was SO SLOW AND FRUSTRATING. 0/10 stars do not recommend. The staff were rude to everybody and lazy 💀💀💀 and it took up to two hours to get our checked luggage so disappointing do not go here.
The gift shop to the left upon entry is the best price and best variety for small knicks and knacks. Cheap water. Cheap snacks. Magnets start at $5.00 thank you for the variety.
