“Although I have never been to this establishment I have met the owner in Prospect Ky on Veterans Day this year. I was picking up some groceries for my family at a local Kroger and was checking out and in front of me was a young man who was finishing up his order and saw that I was a retired military veteran from the hat I was wearing. He wish me a happy Veterans Day and thanked me for my service and in kind I thanked him for the recognition. He then spoke to cashier and hung around while I thought nothing of this until I went to pay and he said I got this for you! I was floored by this act of kindness but I said to him not necessary and that I would get the bill and he said absolutely not. “They have the BEST food and always have generous portions. Our daughter LOVES the hamburgers and my son always gets a hot dog. The gyros are PERFECT and if you want to get one of the best things on the menu then you want to get a Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. I tried a bite of my husband's last night and about melted in my chair. The best Philly I have ever had! The staff are extremely friendly too! We have never had a bad experience. Super Gyros is really a hidden gem in the East Peoria area! It's become one of our favorite places. The food is delicious, the prices are reasonable, and you always leave FULL! 😁“
