I’m not sure I’ve ever had a bad experience here. I love their food, the jambalaya, gumbo, po boys. All of it. I recommend trying their deviled eggs and also their crab cakes as far as appetizers but their crab dip is also delicious. The shrimp po boy is very filling and you can do a half sandwich and half a cup of jambalaya or gumbo! The flavor in their food is absolutely amazing and provides such a “comfort food” vibe. It leaves you feeling warm and cozy inside. A plate of their jambalaya surely cures any bad mood instantly. 10/10 recommend.

This place was incredible the atmosphere was so cool clean and relaxed. Food was amazing I didn’t know I was missing out on a whole genre of food until I had their Gumbo, Jambalaya, and red beans and rice. Everything was a hit catfish fries 10/10 burgers 10/10 service was exceptional. If I lived in Peoria this would be a weekly visit.

First time trying this place so we wanted to try a few things. The deviled eggs were the best we ever had. Highly recommend to anyone to try them. The crab cakes were demolished within seconds, really good w that romalade sauce mixed w the pepper jam. Alligator was delicious, so was the shrimp and catfish. Our waitress was really sweet and did an amazing job even tho she said she was really new and was still learning Toast. Will deff be back.

the food was great, My husband had the beef big burger and I had the smoked sausage po'boy. We shared gator bites for the appetizer. the service was great. Definitely would go back.

not only was the food delicious (which it REALLY was), the staff were very friendly and the service was wonderful. and if that wasn't enough, I left my hat behind after dining while on a family vacation and they mailed it back to me in Ohio and refused to let me reimburse them for the shipping. absolute class act. could not recommend highly enough! I hope to find myself in Peoria again just so I can eat there again.

Honestly, I do really enjoy this place usually. Haven't been there in about 6 months. The service was not good. Only 1 waitress which is usual. However, she was not on top of it when it came to taking orders and checking on us. Handedness menus and walked away before I could order a drink and didn't come back for about 8 minutes. Didn't check on us to refill drinks. When she finally did after we were all done I ordered 1 more drink and the check because I was tired of waiting. I won't let this 1 subpar experience sway me. Great food as always and atmosphere seemed off, but maybe I was having an off day and all this is on me being impatient. I'll try again!

Gumbo and Crawfish ettouffe tasted exactly the same, which was tomato soup with some rice thrown in. Have had better gumbo out of a Campbells can.
