Definitely need to try the Italian Beef sandwich so delicious you can either get it dipped or have the aju on the side and dip it yourself. Prices are seriously amazing too. Also don't forget to try a slice of their famous chocolate cake it was so delicious and moist absolutely loved it.

They are not paying attention to the orders that come in. I had to wait 5-10 on my salad that I ordered. That was all I ordered, all they had to do was open the door to get it out & gave me the nasty house dressing instead of ranch. Then it happened again but this time they gave the people after us their food the fries were warm not hot. So very sad

This is my favorite place to eat when I visit Peoria. There was one time when my Hot Dog was cold, but that was years ago. I can honestly say I haven't a bad experience since then. I want to try something new whenever I go, but I always end up getting a Burger or Chicago Dogs. Burgers are charred and very tasty. Chicago Dogs are outstanding! Found the cake to be over -rated but that could have been a bad day. We all have them. Nevertheless I highly recommend Portillo's. Looking forward to my next visit. God Bless!

Great ambience and very friendly staff! We’ve gotten a variety of foods over the years and it’s always been decent enough, if not a little greasy. Entrees, fries, and drink sold separately, so we usually split fries ($3.50ish) and go without a drink. It’s usually about $15-20ish for the two of us. Not the speediest, but not the slowest either.I have an onion sensitivity & asked for my hotdog without, but still found a moderate sprinkling. Maybe watch out for personalized orders.It’s more worth it to eat inside than do drive thru. The decor is neat and the music fun!
