Let me start by saying our waitress Briyana was amazing! She was friendly, quick, and a step ahead of our needs the entire service. The only reason any stars were given is because of her. Secondly this has always been my husband favorite..as a peoria native this was one of the first places he took me as an out of towner. We have been to this location many times yrs ago. After relocating to the area recently this is our first visit. I was confused why on a sat evening the parking lot was so empty..yet google represented as "busy". After the visit I see why. We order crab queso dip..and both got Blackened Salmon Orleans. When the crab queso came out fishy my husband was automatic put off. We both were leary..hoping our salmon wouldn't be overly fishy. Everyone knows a good piece of fish dose not give "fishy". Once our Entrees arrived we both were shocked bc the Blackened part of the dish was none existent. The salmon was lightly pan seared..no blackening at all. The sauce was pungent...too much citrus...too much vinegar...I'm not sure but it was over barring...and covering the plate..not just the fish. The fish was a just above under done. The skin side was slimey. Also on blackened fish the skin should be crispy. My husband's mac and cheese taste like movie theater nacho cheese sauce. The mash potatoes were dry..like all day sitting on a heating station. When our waitress returned she brought us 8 boxes. It was my husband, my 4 yr old and myself. Point is we ate barely anything. She had to give us a brown paper bag to fit all our leftovers in. The look on her face let me know she could read something was off. So I told her I would be honest. The food just was not up to par. We wanted to reassure her that her service was amazing and the only reason we were smiling was her personality and service. She offered to get our bill adjusted. We told her that wasn't why we're telling her. Anyone with common sense could see we weren't happy with the meal and were being nice about it. She decided to mention it to her manager. Her manager, Chris, comes out to speak with us. We tell her everything stated above. She apologizes and leaves. My daughter and husband got to the front to look at the lobsters. I waited about 5 min at the table for the bill. Our waitress brought it and apologized for my wait. She said she was waiting for her manager to discount the bill. However her manager did not because we had told her it "was fine". Now I have worked food service..catering..and been a manager. The customer leaving happy is ALWAYS the goal. On no planet would I have a customer complain about pretty much the whole meal and not give them something complimentary. Let it be a free dessert. A 10 percent discount, a gift card for 20$ for the next visit. I don't care how understanding or polite they were. However Chris took out politeness and ran with it. She thought it was OK for us to pay 130$ for a meal we did not eat that had several issues bc we didn't cuss..hoop, and holler over it. When she approached the table she had an attitude on her face like we just didn't want to pay. We paid our bill in full and tipped bc our waitress was not at fault. Red lobster in peoria has gone down hill...and the manager not having better customer service skills does not help. In her position my guest would not have paid for fishy crab queso..and would have received complimentary desserts or a small discount to show understanding and a desire to have a chance for them to return. In this economy going out is really a special occasion. Nothing worst than going out to a place expecting top tier...paying good money and walking away disappointed with the manager being nonchalant about your experience. Disappointed isn't even the word...more like disgusted..because as a manager I know we always have the disgression when it comes to customer satisfaction to try and make it right because that is the right thing to do!

Weeknight specials have brought me back into the fold of regular customers. The pricing strategies, especially in regard to the daily specials, shows clearly that Red Lobster is being proactive in its effort to provide value based meals to counteract inflationary impacts and compete for customer dollars.
Tonight I was seated immediately, and my waiter appeared shortly thereafter. My food was served hot and my meal was exactly what I ordered. Best of all, my waiter checked in with me on several occasions. My check arrived as I was finishing, and my glass was never empty, two of the most important considerations when I rate restaurants. This was a 5 star experience all the way!

Everything was great, got the Atlantic salmon and wow it’s was great. My friends and family got other entrees and they all looked great. Our hostess Tyra was super nice and was very attentive to our table and others. Only mistake was charging me for a cheaper ticket from another table but I wouldn’t feel good skipping out on paying my actual full bill so she fixed and all was well! Great location always liked it here

I hadn't been to red lobster in about 15 years, but we had some gift cards that we needed to use, and I get why I haven't been in 15 years. This might be the worst "expensive" meal I've had in awhile. It's certainly not going to break the bank per se. But over $120 before tip for two people... you could spend that money way better at any number of other places in Peoria and have a much better experience. We ordered a couple cocktails that seemed to take awhile. When they did arrive our waiter told us there was a new bartender so if we didn't like the drinks, he would remake them. My partner enjoyed her drink, mine was a bit too sugary for me, but I didn't think it needed to be remade. We ordered the Tiger Shrimp Cocktail appetizer, which was supposed to come with some "samu" Thai chili sauce, which is what drew me in. When the appetizer arrived, there was no samu sauce. I waited for about 5 minutes for our waiter to come back so I could ask for the sauce, to which he told me they were out. Would have been nice to know that when I was ordering, probably would have tried something else. The shrimp itself were large, but had kind of a rubbery texture to them. Wouldn't order again. For entrées I ordered one of the feast things and my partner chose the shrimp pick 3. I got a caesar salad as one of my sides which came out first with the cheddar bay biscuits. These were highlights unfortunately. When the food arrived, I asked for a draft beer to go with my meal. The waiter told me their draft beer lines were down, so only bottles... OK. So I asked if they had any Ambers, to which he said the closest was probably a Sam Adam's Summer Seasonal (not an amber at all but at this point I just wanted any beer), so I ordered one of those. He came back a few minutes later and apologized that they were out of that, but said they had Fat Tire (where was that suggestion before?), so I ordered that. Again, he comes back about 5 minutes later and tells me they're out of that too... seriously? So I ask "well, what beer DO you have?" He tells me to wait and he'll check. He comes back several minutes later with a list that he just wrote of all the beer they did have and hands it to me... I settled on a Modelo. The entrées themselves were fine. Nothing special, but not terrible. We had a little shrimp linguini Alfredo leftovers that we were going to take home, but both of us started feeling stomach pains on the car ride home. My partner threw up after we got home. So yea, we threw the leftovers away, would not recommend. Unless you just go for the cheddar bay biscuits and caesar salads. Those were pretty good. Otherwise, almost any other place is a better use of your money.

On Saturday may 18 around 7:30pm my wife placed a carry out order. When we arrived at the sterling location the female hostess was being rude and sarcastic for just asking for our order that she claimed we never ordered!!! We got a text from red lobster and showed her the phone call we did !!! But she started giving attitude to my wife and daughter so we just walked out .

UPDATE 5/12/24We were seated right away at 5:40pm for a table for 3. After waiting an hour and 40 minutes we left without ever getting our food!!! They don't have my favorite dish (Crab Linguini Alfredo) anymore, SO disappointed!! You don't get a salad with your food anymore (it's an up-charge).Sadly, we won't be back.OLD:As a treat we've to get seafood at Red Lobster, but it is too expensive to go more than 2-3 times a year for us. The portions seem to get smaller and the prices go up every couple years. The last time we went salads were no longer included with our meals. Sad...
