Neither the owner or the company cares about feedback: zero response to my feedback online or this review. Want to know why you have to close early? Cause this is how you treat paying customers
We were eating our meal today, after waiting 28 mins for food for two. While eating the employees told us (and another table) that the new owner (Mike something) is shutting down for today for being slow and had to leave. I waited almost a half hour and you kick out paying customers because it’s slow and you want to save cost. I paid almost 35 bucks to not even be allowed to finish our meal. Poor business made decision.

How is it possible to mess up one meal for the only person in the drive thru? My order has been wrong 4 out of the last 5 times I've went to this location. I recommend hiring a staff that can actually read...

Waited 50 minutes for single combo and it wasn’t hot enough to melt the butter, there were only 3 people in there and they said they had been waiting for an hour so I guess I got lucky, when I pulled up there were 2 workers out there waiting to bring the soda in because the soda machines weren’t working. I didn’t eat my hamburger at all and the soda machines still never did work so I drank water after paying 269 for a Coke. I will never go back poor management poor service. I haven’t been to steak ‘n Shake in three or four years used to. They had good service now there’s nobody working there, but cooks you have to order on the kiosk machine and it still comes out wrong.

After ordering for my parents and I, me and my mom got our food after about 10 minutes to then be told my dads food would take another 30 minutes to make(chili 5 way). Decided to get just a burger instead which took another 20 minutes anyway. Would have just waited for the chili if we knew it would take that long for the burger. My Frisco melt was the only good part of my meal. They forgot to bring a side of honey mustard with the order that we purchased. Both orders of fries for me and my mom were barely lukewarm when we got them and got cold quickly.

i waited almost 45 mins for a medium fry and a shake. the shake was liquid with no whipped cream or cherry. the fries were sloppy and raw. also i was the only one in the restaurant along with another person and it still took that long.

This isn't like how it was when we grew up, but that is to be expected. Only kiosk options to order. The food is pretty consistent and how I remember it, and the thin fries are still a good unique flavor. The new beef tallow frying doesn't seem to change the flavor much. There is also a random Bitcoin burger, which I don't really understand the point of, but that helps keep the menu interesting I guess.
There was a paper printed at the kiosk and instructions to scan when getting your self serve fountain drink. But we couldn't figure out the point of that system because it appeared we could use the fountain just as any other restaurant.

If you burn the onion rings order, toss them and start again. That's what I had to do, throw them away! Along with my money. I won't be back
Always ask to have my Frisco melt cut in half like the photo on the menu board , they never seem to complete this simple 2 second task .I have cut my lip on the sharp crust before.
Do not go for a drive thru here. They take years to process even if it's a small order and the staff are not responsive and rude.
