“Being raised in Mesa AZ, this place is so literally refreshing. The steak and chicken tacos will literally cleanse your pallet with just onion, cilantro, and a bit of cheese. Very important that the meat is fine and crispy and both the chicken and the steak is every time. Get the kids a cheese quesadilla which is very thick and filling and there’s no reason to go anywhere else nearby. Lots of various candies for the kids too.“

“Their offerings redefines taco expectations. Most places offer nondescript and predictable simple tacos. These are unique blends of flavors and generous portions. It’s a 15 mile trip for our family but one we happily make. It’s a destination until itself. I highly recommend it!“

“My friend and I like to try different local restaurants on our shopping day over the wkend. We stopped in to Pekin's Downtown Whiskey Taco on a Sunday and was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness, delicious food, and reasonable pricing for the dishes we devoured! A+ We'll be back!“

“Omgersh....that was the best chicken burrito I have ever had! Just be careful of the juice dripping down! You'll want to eat that too. Eat it over the delicious chips and salsa! The salsa has a kick, but it's a kick that adds to the flavor! Definitely recommend. Worth the trip downtown.“
