This is the second year in a row we stopped for Monday Morning breakfast on the way home from Tailgates and Tallboys in Bloomington - garden skillet is spectacular & Guinness gravy is a must! Solid Bloody Mary served by a fantastic bartender - quick, and SO friendly :)
I've been going to this spot off and on for 25 years and they are the best now that they have ever been. There's a couple different servers/ bartenders who really knock it out of the park every time. They remembered what I drank and what I ate from previous trips there and that counts for a lot with me. Their food is decent and so is the service. The place is full of windows and all lit up. It's nice to have a LOCAL little spot like this. Beer always ice cold.
Fantastic food in a bar setting that took awhile. This about sums it up. Oh, also, the cost with portion sizes are phenomenal as well. This changed to my favorite peoria area breakfast spot.
